Fresh off the release of their violin-driven pop punk single “Just Make Sure You’re Happy,” Texas-based quintet Postcards From The Moon are back with a new music video and single called “Wish You The Best.” Violinist Rolando Valentin Ramon sets down the high-pitched instrument and picks up a guitar for the finely tuned ballad.
“Wish You The Best” comes from the band’s new EP, Me Without You, out now on all online platforms. The song begins with quick and sweet piano riff before launching into a swaying groove and lyrics that could be the millennial anthem for a failed friendship.
“I wrote this song about an ex-friend of mine,” says vocalist Caleb Rangel. “It’s about me not holding grudges for the way things ended and simply wishing her the best. I only want her to be happy. The lyrics were influenced by a Snapchat story. Another friend of mine was going through something similar and was posting photos with captions that really got to me. I used a lot of her original words as lyrics in this song, after getting the ‘okay’ from her of course.”
Me Without You is the sophomore EP from the self-proclaimed “Sad Boys of San Antonio” and is mostly a reflection and acceptance of things we cannot change. It was produced by Kevin W. Gates (Never Shout Never, Stephen Jerzak, The Ready Set).

Fire Fight – The Ghost Inside
Minneapolis, MN hard rock band Fire Fight has released the official music video for their single, “The Ghost Inside.” “The Ghost Inside” is off of their 2017 released EP Transitions.
“’The Ghost Inside’ is our favorite song to play live. It’s got it all, and in a very short amount of time, from heavy riffage down to soft vocals building into an epic chorus and back to the heavy riffing, and that reflects the story behind it: light vs. darkness, good vs evil, and the continuing battle between. For the video, we went for simplicity; there’s a ghost inside all of us. As people we can go through different stages of emotions and sometimes those emotions make us see in black and white, and while the song may be complicated, we wanted to accent that simplicity throughout in the imagery as well.”
Remember when music made you feel things you’d never felt before? When it seemed like every time you turned on the radio, you discovered a whole new world? What happened to that sense of wonder and refreshment?
Minneapolis, Minnesota’s Fire Fight seeks to breathe new life into a world muddied by generalities and jaded artistry.
Our goal is to spark that same sense of wonder and inspiration that was once the norm. Music isn’t what we do for a living, it’s what we do to live and we want to share that with every audience we encounter. Every show belongs to you just as much as it does to us, and we want to change the way you hear rock music and the way you experience it.
With driving percussion, intricate riffs, infectious hooks, and mesmerizing melodies, each song tells a story: our story, our journey. Egos and politics have their place, but everyone needs something that speaks to their heart and soul. Without heart, all art is fruitless. So bang your heads, throw up the horns, jump, dance, sing and be present. The music industry and bureaucracy have taken so much from music and from you, the fans. We’re here to give it back.
We are FIRE FIGHT!

Scattered Hamlet – Stay Hungry
Hard Southern Rock Band Scattered Hamlet has released the official music video for their cover of the Twisted Sister classic single, “Stay Hungry.” “Stay Hungry” is a heartfelt tribute to the band’s drummer, Jake Delling Le Bast, who is currently in a coma.
“There we were, one second we were waiting to see if we landed a tour support slot with an artist we really looked up to, and then next, I got the call. The heartbeat of the honky-tonk metal machine, Jake Delling Le Bas, was celebrating his 30th birthday and fell off a third story balcony….. They didn’t know if he was going to make it. Later though, he did defy all odds and made it, but was in a coma with a traumatic brain injury. The kind of brain injury soldiers get from IEDs.
I couldn’t make this crap up if I tried, it was like an episode of Behind The Music, but this time, instead of me watching it we were living it. I’m writing this nearly eight months later and I haven’t heard his voice since September. After talking with his family and the guys, we realized Jake didn’t work most of his adult life this hard to get the band to where we were only for us to decide we couldn’t move on. Honestly, that would piss him off most.
Since the album cycle was cut short for Swamp Rebel Machine, we wanted to make something special so we put a call out to our fans on social media to pick a song for us to cover as a tribute for our fallen brother.
We had some great ideas pitched to us and some not so great ideas [laughs]. Anyway, we demoed a few and they ran a complicated series of emotions: reflective, sad, sentimental… you name it, we tried to link that emotion to a song we could do justice. In SH though, we always had one gear and that’s balls out straight ahead. At the end of the day, we were still hungry and still wanted that same thing we were after the first time Jake, I and the early SH machine drove halfway across the country to SXSW in Austin to announce to the music community that we were here. So that’s when my older brother stepped in, the fella who gave me my first Kiss album and got me started on this journey, he said, “Do Twisted Sister.” My brother grew up on Long Island and he and his friends used to see them in their early days. I’d always been a fan, but I watched their documentary and thought, wow, these guys knew how to overcome. Here we are feeling sorry for ourselves and should be out kicking ass again. With the help of Jake’s best friend, and decorated producer, Jason Donaghy, and Jake’s younger brother, Alex, doing the video, this tune gave us a chance to get back on the horse and maybe when we play Warped Tour it can introduce some of the younger folks at the shows to the badassness that is Twisted Sister, or of course, Dee and the band can go NY style on my ass if they think we messed up their song.”
– Adam Joad (Frontman)About Scattered Hamlet
Imagine Stone Cold Steve Austin with his partners Bo and Luke Duke in a parking lot brawl on Saturday night set to music?“It’s Honky Tonk Metal, like you took a handful of cheap tucker speed and headed out on the highway. “ That’s how the guys in Scattered Hamlet describe their sound. To many others, they describe it as a mix between Motorhead, Molly Hatchet, and Clutch. Take a listen and you be the judge.
Scattered Hamlet was created to capture the essence of growing up in the country while still giving nods to the original outlaw countrymen of years past. Scattered Hamlet is one part Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet with a little flavoring of Motorhead and Down. All wrapped up in a fine shotgun shell casing. Their influences range everywhere from Southern classic rock, to groove, to doom and punk. With humble origins all over the United States and a relentless touring schedule of 100+ shows a year visiting 40 + states, the band makes no apologies for the equal love of Harley Davidsons, Honky Tonks, Les Pauls, Marshalls, shotguns and the classic American symbolism they all amass.
Their debut full-length album, Skeleton Dixie, was produced by 2-time Grammy nominated Jason Donaghy who’s credits include Rob Zombie, John 5 and the Murder Dolls and mastered by legend Howie Weinberg who’s credits include: Pantera, Slayer, White Zombie, and Danzig. Their second full length, and most recent, S_wamp Rebel Machine_, would go on to give the band their most success with nearly 5,000 copies sold since its release in 2016, landing them a place on the Billboard Heatseekers charts for first week sales in November 2016. All of that mixed with a rigorous touring schedule during the 2017 season has made Scattered Hamlet a top competitor in the underground rock scene.
Scattered Hamlet has gone on to perform at some of America’s greatest music festivals such as Rocklahoma, Rock Fest, Steel Horse Bike Rally, and Warped Tour. Plus, their latest release garnered heavy rotation on dozens of radio station across America and found placements on CMT, MTV, and several other media outlets.
These hillbilly boys know how to grab the bull by the horns, hold on for dear life, and ride that cow into the ground. All humble, yet determined, Scattered Hamlet is aiming down the barrels and ready to pull the trigger on the monstrous career ahead of them.

Jason Herring & The Mystery Plan – Electric Love
Jason Herring & The Mystery Plan released their new album ‘Queensland Ballroom’ on September 8 via Ten Millimeter Omega Recordings. With an infectious chilled atmosphere and dreamy female vocals, ‘Electric Love’ is the first single from this release. The accompanying video was directed by Jon Ecklund and Fiona Jones and produced by Dream Out Loud Media.
Based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, the band is comprised of Jason Herring, Otis Hughes, Jeff Chester, Amy Herring, Paul Jensen and Patty McLaughlin. This 11-track offering follows the band’s ‘Electric Love’ EP, released in June of this year.
Both of these releases involved production by legendary producer John Fryer, one of the most innovative sonic architects of our age. “John Fryer has practically soundtracked your entire life,” says Impose Magazine, with a musical imprint that is massive, having shaped the sound of nearly all early 4AD Records’ releases (Cocteau Twins, Lush, Kristin Hersh, Dead Can Dance), as well as bands from Nine Inch Nails and Love and Rockets to HIM and Depeche Mode. He is also one of just two artists behind This Mortal Coil, along with Ivo Watts-Russell, and the mastermind behind his latest project Black Needle Noise.
Jason Herring met Fryer while visiting Los Angeles, where his studio is currently based. After collaborating on the ‘Electric Love’ EP, they launched into the new ‘Queensland Ballroom’ LP, which sees the band take a turn from their trademark psychedelic folk sound to a more electronic downtempo groove.
After a hiatus of several years, bandmates Jason Herring (The Interstellars, Muchacho, Farfalla) and Paul Jensen (Fetchin’ Bones, the Interstellars) began writing songs again. Soon thereafter, the first album ‘The Future Ain’t What It Used to Be’ was released in 2010, followed by ‘Chateau Beaumont’ in 2012 and ‘Long Shadows’ in 2014.
“Our previous releases are a little melancholy, so Amy and I decided we should make this record a little more fun. A record outside of our norm” says, Jason Herring. “Electric Love was inspired by Amy and I feeling a bit randy in the studio – that’s fun, yeah?”
This whole experience ultimately led Jason Herring to collaborate further with John Fryer on music for a feature film and an HBO documentary. Fryer also appears briefly in the new video for ‘Electric Love’.
