To me, Too Many T’s is a perfect example of those artists who keep hip-hop pure and relevant in today’s world of increasing white noise. They are musical purists in the truest sense of the term. And they find like minds to consistently work with. In the ever-shrinking bubble of originality look no further than this dynamic duo to deliver us from evil.
‘Everyday People’ combines old school beats with older school horns and lifts them out of history with relevance that only comes from those who understand relevance. I have officially met the artists in who, the old ways have joined then new.

TOO MANY T’S- ‘LA FAM ILL’
When, if ever, have you heard of a British rap duo collaborating with the best producers, rappers & beatboxers France has to offer? Well, we are proud to affirm that the time has finally come!
‘La Fam Ill’ is a multi-genre, alt Hip Hop album from acclaimed British duo Too Many T’s, featuring a heavy dose of classic old school beats that weave their way from bouncy dub & upbeat guitar-led funk beats, to modern electro-infused hip hop underpinned with dirty synth lines.
With a different producer on every track, there are a plethora of musical styles all tied together with the T’s controlling the microphone with their signature energy and well-crafted lyricism.
Too Many T’s showcase buoyant playful tongues in cheek lyrics teaching us not to take life too seriously with their notorious back-to-back double-time raps, whilst sitting comfortably alongside much deeper and more reflective songwriting. This is an album that travels the world both figuratively, and literally. ‘La Fam Ill”s journeys reflect those of the band’s protagonists, Leon and Ross, floating effortlessly through a forest of stories both lived and witnessed – the effects of climate change, class warfare, and the difficulties of maintaining friendships as we grow up.
Amidst the diverse, intriguing, and overall feel of the album, each track has its own special twist created by the colossal lineup of French Hip-hop artists including: Atili, ASM, Chill Bump, Chinese Man, Djar One, Form, Hippocampe Fou, La Fine Equipe, MB14, Proleter, Pumpkin & VinS Da Cuero, Smokey Joe & The Kid and Yoshi Di Original.
The story of ‘La Fam Ill”s creation began in 2017, when Too Many T’s performed to a crowd of thousands at Trans Musicales festival, Rennes. This recording went viral overnight, and the T’s suddenly found themselves a brand new fan French base, & got promptly signed to Bordeaux-based French label Banzai Lab and Parisian booking agency Cartel Concerts.
A massive 40 date tour across France soon emerged and propelled the band further into French consciousness. Along the way, they made an abundance of new friendships and connections with some of France’s biggest and best names in the genre….and thus ‘’La Fam Ill’’ was born!
This Too Many T’s ‘and friends’ project proves yet again how innovative and unique the T’s are, showcasing incredible talent and fusing them together from both sides of the English Channel!

Neethusha – Why Did I Lose You
Neethusha’s path was already mapped out, as she confessed her Indian upbringing and pressures from society could’ve hindered her journey, but it was her inner drive and determination to avoid letting the opportunity slip that has formed this free-spirited singer-songwriter.
After listening to the ‘voice in my head’, telling her not to back down, she began honing her sound and the Indian born vocalist is now here with her romantic ballad ‘Why Did I Lose You’.
However this isn’t Neethusha’s first jaunt into the music industry, she was lead singer with band StereoGrind, appearing on Kappa TV in her Kerala hometown. In the past she has performed at shows such as Facebook India Party and Femina Style Diva, South India in 2015 and since the band split has played solo gigs around the country including Elle Carnival in 2016.
You wouldn’t think life as a pop singer would begin as a computer science graduate, but as Neethusha embarked on life as an engineer in the Bangalore offices of Deloitte, it was music that provided the outlet to express herself.
She draws inspiration from a myriad of prolific artist’s which has inspired her open minded music. These include Savage Garden and Coldplay to powerful vocal performers like Shania Twain and Celine Dion, which would explain her aim to create music from a variety of genres such as funk, rock, and acoustic-led pop.

Evi Vine – Sabbath
Ethereal alt-rock outfit Evi Vine presents ‘Sabbath’, a sweet and heavy preview of their long-awaited long-play ‘Black Light White Dark’, due out in early 2019 on vinyl and CD, as well as digitally. This powerhouse track features Evi Vine’s gossamer vocals and precise orchestration, cleverly woven together with bass guitar by Simon Gallup of The Cure and guitar by Peter Yates of Fields of the Nephilim.
Produced by Dave Izumi (Nordic Giants, Ed Harcourt, Magic Numbers) and mixed by Phill Brown (Talk Talk, Jimmy Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, John Martyn, Robert Palmer), this album also features contributions from several other celebrated artists. Apart from Simon Gallup (The Cure), this album also involves Martyn Barker (Shriekback, Billy Bragg, Marianne Faithfull, Goldfrapp), Peter Yates (Fields of the Nephilim), and Geraldine Swayne (Faust).
As a group, Evi Vine is joined by Steven Hill, Matt Tye, and David ‘GB’ Smith. Their music explores the dark elemental nature of the human heart, as well as environmental and post-apocalyptic themes. Evi Vine’s sound is both sublime and haunting. Creating a unique and uncompromising atmosphere, the effect is reverential, physical music, evoking a rare experience that is beautiful, sparse and deeply intimate.
“I know a lot of people are being shaped by experiences in our lives, ghosts of childhood, self-destructive pain and sorrow, all our personal struggles, doubt, and change. I can feel the earth dying and it makes me so sad. We write reflective songs about the circular patterns of man, and reflecting beauty and violence in the world,” says Evi Vine.
“We recorded live for the first time, which meant we were perhaps able to express the energy in the room together, vibing off one another and experimenting with new sounds, in a new space. Writing in the room was a new experience for us. Its the first time we’ve gone in with no finished songs. We had a few ideas and riffs but took the time to let them breathe and worked on them until we felt we had captured a special moment. After producing two albums essentially at home, this feels like a re-birth for the band.”
Evi Vine’s debut self-released debut album ‘…And So The Morning Comes’ was heralded as “the underground gem of 2011” by Drowned in Sound and championed by Simon Raymonde (Bella Union, Cocteau Twins) as his album of the year. Directed by Oscar-winning Nick Brooks (Fight Club, The Matrix, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Evi joined with internationally acclaimed photographer Patrick Fraser to make the stunning video ‘For the Dreamers’.
Their second album ‘Give Your Heart to The Hawks’ (2015) was co-produced by Richard Formby (Mogwai, Spacemen 3, Wild Beasts) and mixed by the legendary Phill Brown (Beth Gibbons, John Martyn, Talk Talk, Led Zeppelin, Robert Palmer). The album also featured Martyn Barker, Peter Yates, Tatia Starkey (My Vitriol/Lola Colt), and Billy Cote (Madder Rose).
Evi’s career has been filled with color. She formed this band while living in LA, quickly getting a support show opening for Slash at the Whiskey-agogo. She has collaborated with Graham Revell (SPK, The Crow Soundtrack), The Eden House, Tony Pettit (Fields of the Nephilim), and Peter Yates (Fields of the Nephilim). In 2016, Evi sang on Phillip Clemo’s ‘DreamMaps’ album, together with Talk Talk’s Simon Edwards and Martin Ditcham, subsequently making appearances on BBC6, BBC3 Late Junction and Jazz FM.
Most recently, Evi Vine contributed backing vocals on The Mission’s 2016 album ‘Another Fall From Grace’, which hit the UK top-40 album chart, and collaborated with Michael Ciravolo on the debut album from LA-based Beauty in Chaos, involving members of The Cure, Ministry, The Mission, Cheap Trick, The Offspring, King’s X and Ice T, among others.
In recent years, Evi Vine has toured with The Mission, Chameleons Vox, Wayne Hussey, And Also The Trees, Phillip Boa and The Voodoo Club, and Her Name is Calla. After hearing Evi Vine’s debut album and including it among his top five albums, Wayne Hussey invited them to tour with him in 2016 and subsequently with The Mission in 2017. Invited on stage to sing three songs by The Mission, the seed was sown and Vine joined The Mission as the featured vocalist for their 30th Anniversary Tour.
“The new album is intense – dark, layered, wonderfully atmospheric, fragile, and at times stripped bare – an album to get lost in….and then surface with Evi’s haunting and delicate vocals and the endless space,” explains Phill Brown.
The Cure’s Simon Gallup elaborated on his involvement in this project: “Hammersmith …me drunk …meet Evi for the first time I mumble that I’d love to play on a couple of tracks …don’t hear anything for ages than an email out of the blue …Three songs …feel nervous but really enjoy the songs …a day trip to the coast and a lovely welcome with dogs ..have beer and made to feel even more welcome ..worry that what I’m playing isn’t right or not going to fit in but enjoy myself and the warmth of everything ..have to dash as there is a prom on …a very bad hill start and a dash back down the motorway ..a quick day that had started 20 months before.”

Rev Rev Rev – Adrift in the Chaosmos
Named as ‘One of Europe’s finest ’gazer bands of the last decade’ [Daily Bandcamp], Rev Rev Rev metabolize shoegaze and psychedelic rock elements in a loud, woozy, fuzz-driven way.
Since the debut, their signature wall-of-sound has inspired rave reviews, with single “Catching a buzz” spun on BBC6 (Steve Lamacq, Radcliffe, and Maconie) and sophomore album ‘Des fleurs magiques bourdonnaient’ praised by influential webzines like Drowned in Sound, Clash Music, Sounds better with reverb.
Their live set at Manchester’s Cosmosis Festival, headlined by The Jesus and Mary Chain, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Raveonettes and WIRE, kick-started a 44-date tour touching UK, France, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy, during which the quartet shared the stage with The Telescopes, Ringo Deathstarr, and Gonjasufi. In Italy, the band was ranked among the best live shows by 200 Italian promoters of the KeepOn Live indie network.
The new album, produced by James Aparicio (Spiritualized, Cult Of Dom Keller, Dead Vibrations), has been released in September 2019 on cult indie psych label Fuzz Club.
Their set at SXSW 2019 impressed, among others, Bob Boilen of All Songs Considered and earned them a feature on NPR’s festival wrap-up as well as airplay on the network’s radios. The band has been invited to play Eurosonic 2020.
